Spring has linen and seersucker. These are fabrics that dominate the warmer months, when staying cool is a main aim. Fall also has fabrics that are brought to bear for the oncoming changes in weather. Chief among them is arguably corduroy. True, you can find some finely gauged corduroy in deck shorts or pants come springtime but the fall is really when this cotton fabric shines. It's around in pants, jackets, shirts, etc. One of the most common uses of it is exemplified by this shirt jacket. Interestingly enough it's not quite either of those things yet combines the best of both worlds. It has the silhouette of a sport shirt while it offers the warmth and protection of a jacket. This style has been around awhile and has seen many permutations along the way. This big and tall one adds a degree of stretch for added mobility. It also puts its best foot forward with including some contrast color detail on its interior.
