Gitman Vintage's new Brushed Fall Oxfords are cut from a heavyweight, 6oz 100% cotton Oxford cloth that’s been brushed for softness and increased loft. Essentially, they’re the cold-weather counterparts to their best-selling Cambridge Oxfords. Not only are they warmer and softer, but they also feature off-white contrasting weft yarns to create a vintage appearance.

The fabric’s hand feel is truly reminiscent of something worn and broken in, like an old, beloved garment. Noticing this characteristic in an early prototype, we opted to embrace its vintage charm by using off-white yarns in the weft of the fabric for a vintage appearance as well. The result is an Oxford unlike any we’ve offered before, one that’s full of charm that’s typically earned only after years of wear.
